Timeline
2016 - With tensions at it's highest, a South Korean unit fires in the DMZ. This sparks the Second Korean War and results with the near launch of a nuclear missile at Seoul, but the launch is avoided when United States Special Forces disabled North Korea's nuclear capabilities.
2019 - The Second Korean War ends with the collapse of the North Korean Communism regime and the Korean pennisula being united under one democratic government run from Seoul.
2020 - The United States Armed Forces reform and refit to be better handled to be able to handle both conventional and unconventional warfare operations, dissolving the United States Marine Corps and putting former Marine operations into Army hands, the Coast Guard permanently merged with the Navy and all air operations are put into the hands of the Airforce and all home-front defenses are put into a combination of National Guard branches now called "The United States National Guardians."
The United States Army, United States Airforce, United States Navy and the United States National Guardians stand as the four revitalized branches of the US Military.
The Iranian Democratic Party Leader is assassinated and his followers revolt against the Iranian government. The Iranian government brutally oppresses resistance which results in a coalition force, mostly lead by the United States to begin Operation: Iranian Freedom.
The Shanghai Pact is made between China, Mongolia and Taiwan that mandates a peaceful annexation of Taiwan and Mongolia into China as long as the Chinese Regime begins reformation to a democratic form of government.
2021 - The last of Iranian Government Forces are eliminated and re-construction of Iran's political institution begins with large support from the Iranian youth.
2022 - The Republic of Iran is officially established.
2027 - The United States withdraw forces from Iran, deeming it a successful operation, however EU and British forces remain.
2028 - World War Three almost occurs when Chechen Insurgents almost set off a nuclear bomb in Moscow but are foiled by the Russian Vympel, who discover that the Chechen Insurgents were supplied a nuclear warhead from a small group of powerful British, French, German, Belgian and Swiss politicians. The countries who the politicians belonged to quickly put them on trial and have them executed for high treason to appease Russia.
South Africa launches a massive conquest campaign that results in the acquisition of Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Despite such a massive shift in the balance of power in Africa, it goes almost unnoticed in the public's eye due to the South African campaign starting only days after the near-crisis in Moscow.
The United States of America lessens relations with the European Union and the United Kingdom due to the recent event and shift focus to building relations with China, Japan, Korea, India and Russia.
2029 - Tiring of the European Union's growing greed and bureaucracy slowing down solutions, Poland, Belarus, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia withdraw membership from the EU and form the Eastern European Coalition (EEC) with main EEC figureheads meeting in Warsaw.
2030 - Terrorism spikes with the main organizations being based in Pakistan, Tadschikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos;
To counter this threat, several nations meet to discuss how to combat this new threat.
2031 - The EU pushes for the nations who met (USA, Canada, Russia, China, EU nations, Britain, EEC nations, India and Korea) to form an international anti-terrorist division.
2032 - The final proposal is sent out and all present bodies agree on the formation of the Joint Anti-Terrorist Division (JAD), the JAD Operations Command is largely put in the hands of the European Union.
The USA, Canada, China and Russia, upset with the EU taking over JAD Operations Command, send only a handful of men to join the Joint Anti-Terrorist Division
